FORMAT:
All bowlers will bowl 5 games across the house, skipping two pair each game. The top 32 scores will advance to Sundays match play final. 30 bonus pins for a win, 15 pins for a tie will be awarded in match play. A blind draw will be held to separate the field into 4, 8 person brackets, A-B-C-D. Finalists will bowl 7 games inside their bracket. The 8th and 9th games of match play will then bowl 3 more position round games. At the end of the last game the field will be cut to the top 5 bowlers for stepladder finals to determine the champion. The tournament leader must be beaten twice.
OTHER TOURNAMENT INFORMATION: Lanes will be stripped and reconditioned before each squad. Anyone not ready to bowl when arrows come up will be replaced by the next available alternate during all portions of this event. The top two scorers from each squad will be locked in for the finals. The remaining 24 spots into the finals will come from all other scores. You may re-enter up to 3 times, qualify for match play once. In the event a bowler has 2 qualifying scores in the top 32, the lowest score will be dropped to 33rd, and will be eligible for the prize money paid to that spot. Employees of Four Seasons bowl will be eligible to bowl. All finalists will receive prize money. Cashing ratio will be at least 1 in 6. No pin fall totals will be carried over to match play. Entries will be accepted until the start of the last squad. Tournament directors decision shall be final unless an appeal is made per rule 329. This is a scratch event. First time entries have priority in all qualifying squads. When calling to reserve spots you may request more than one squad; however, you will be put on the waiting list for those extra squads. This event is certified and USBC rules will apply. Non USBC members may bowl by buying an $18 USBC card. All prize and added money returned 100%.
